Tattoo Status (#2): Billy Bob Thornton reportedly covered it up with a angel and the word "Peace". She was rumored to be removing "several" tattoos in 2002 & 2003 (Photo) and later replaced the shoulder "Billy Bob" tattoo with the birthplace names of her children.

The Tattoo: Pamela Anderson and Tommy Lee married 4 days after they started dating, and when they returned to Los Angeles they exchanged tattoos instead of wedding bands. Pamela Anderson tattooed "Tommy" onto her ring finger. Tommy Lee tattooed "Pamela" onto his penis.
The Relationship: Divorced; Pamela later announced she contracted Hepatitis C from sharing a tattoo needle with Tommy Lee
Tattoo Status: Shortly after Pamela Anderson filed assault charges and divorced Tommy Lee, she modified the tattooed name "Tommy" to read "Mommy".
Reportedly, Pamela Anderson also insisted Tommy Lee remove his tattoo of "Heather" (referring to his ex-wife Heather Locklear) and so he changed it to "eather".

Johnny Depp also got a tattoo of his mother's name, "Betty Sue" in May 1988, a tattoo of his son's name "Jack" and a tattoo of his daughter's name "Lily-Rose". In an interview in Rolling Stone 1991 he described his plans after death to have his tattoos pickled as keepsakes for his children.

The Relationship: Five months into the relationship / after the tattoos, Eddie Murphy announced on tv his split from Scary Spice and publicly questioned whether the child was his. She gave birth to the couple's daughter, Angel Iris Murphy Brown, on April 3 2007, with DNA testing confirming his paternity. She then married Stephen Belafonte two months later, in July 2007.
Tattoo Status: In August 2007, she told People Magazine she was in the process of getting his name tattoo removed and only had two laser treatments left.

Reportedly, in March 2005 Paris Hilton demanded her boyfriend of two months, Paris Latsis, to remove the tattoo "Z" on his wrist commemorating his previous 2-year dating relationship with Zeta Graff. Paris Hilton and Paris Latsis later became in engaged in May 2005, only to break up four months later in September 2005.
