This page is collecting information for some of my assorted projects.

Author Websites: It's harder to track down official author websites than one would expect since there are so many unofficial fan sites. Also included are official sites for the author from the publisher, and some fan-run sites if sanctioned & contributed to by the author. I've tried to weed out any any fan tribute pages - though I've relented on that issue for some authors who have been deceased for a long time. Links are provided to IMDB where possible because IMDB is awesome.

Signature Scans: Each scanned autograph is from my collection; some I've obtained in person and others I've bought the book signed. People occasionally ask me why I collect signed books - for me personally, it's primarily because I love books and enjoy the personal connection of having a book actually touched by the author who wrote it.

Author Info: The included personal information is to best of my knowledge. I'm collecting it for a few eventual projects of making a "family tree" of how some of the authors influenced each other and some maps of where the authors are most concentrated. Contact information is only provided if widely publicly available (i.e., mentioned in interviews, stated on the author's website, etc). Amazon wish lists are provided only if they meet rigorous standards - they must be the result of searching Amazon by the author's email address. Approximate Hugo and Nebula award info is primarily for best novel, novella, novelette, short story, etc through 2006 and will probably be out-of-date eventually. I use the term "at least" because of the recent trend of awarding retroactive awards, so even authors long dead may be suddenly awarded a Hugo any year. Dark shading indicates the author has died.

How do I decide who qualifies to be on this page? Mostly authors I like, and/or have been featured in the Isaac Asimov Science Fiction Magazine, and/or have been nominated for Hugo or Nebula awards.
