Gerbils

(Meriones unguiculatus)
My parents allowed me to have my first pair of gerbils at age
8. Since then I've been an enthusiastic gerbil owners and eventually
private breeder. For availability of litters (in the Denver area, no
shipping), please email me.
Short-Tailed Opossums

(Monodelphis domestica)
I received my first short-tailed opossum (STO) in 2000, and
since then I've run a very successful
STO mailing list and I am publishing a
biology and care book
about them.
Siamese Fighting Fish
(Betta splendens)
My mother and I named our first betta "Prince" when I was in
elementary school and he lived for an amazing five years. They are
beautiful, elegant fish - and fierce predators! It's hard to beat a
carnivorous, air-breathing fish as a pet...especially one with such pretty
colors.
Squirrel
(In Many Different Languages)

Squirrel
Translations - The word "squirrel" in 145+ languages. Why? I like
squirrels and I like languages, and I enjoyed harnessing the power of
Internet translators to figure them out. Thank you, Internet!
